Lifetime warranty on Vinyl Frame and Vinyl Sash Members

FCI windows are warranted against such defects in material and workmanship that might result in blistering , peeling, flaking, corroding of the window frame or sash members for as long as you are the owner from the date of installation.

This Limited Warranty shall be null and void if harmful solvents are used to clean the vinyl frame and/or sash members, or if the frame and/or sash members are painted or coated in any way.

Ten Year Warranty on Vertically-Installed Glass Units/ Five Year Warranty on Horizontally-Installed Glass Units

FCI warrants that the insulating glass units contained in the windows will conform to the Federal specifications for insulating glass units fabricated from select A quality glass and that under normal conditions there will not be an obvious obstruction of vision which is the result of film formation or dust collection between the interior glass surfaces.

Five Year Warranty of Hardware

FCI warrants that the hardware (handles & locks) shall remain in good operational condition for a period of FIVE (5) years from the date of installation. This warranty does not cover accidental damage or damage from misuse of product.

General Conditions

This Limited Warranty must be validated by having the Registration Certificate completed by the original Purchaser and received by FCI Window Products no later than thirty (30) days from the completed installation in order for Warranty Entitlement. This warranty includes replacement of materials for all units, and labour costs for units installed by FCI only. The limited warranty stipulated in this document is the only warranty applicable to products manufactured by FCI Window Products.

Effective Date of Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty will take effect the date of certification by FCI Window Products or FCI Dealer/Distributor that the installation has been completed at the premises identified in the warranty certificate.

Maintenance

P.V.C. - A mild solution of household cleaner or dishwashing detergent may be used.

GLASS - Use any commercial glass cleaner available in the supermarket or a solution of vinegar and water.

SCREEN - A mild solution such as used to clean the P.V.C. frame applied with a soft cloth and rinsed off with a garden hose.

Mechanical Maintenance

Tilt latches, multi-locking cams & amp; strikers collect dirt and grime. Failure to clean & lubricate these parts on an annual basis with clear silicone will void the warranty on hardware.
